Patient Counselor

In this role, you will:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients seeking healthcare guidance through mediSuggest.
• Assist patients in understanding their medical needs and connect them with the right doctors, hospitals, and diagnostic centers.
• Help schedule appointments, diagnostic tests, and follow-ups efficiently.
• Provide empathetic support and clear information, ensuring a smooth patient journey.
• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and coordinate with healthcare providers to confirm availability.
• Resolve patient queries and escalate complex issues when needed.

In this role, you will:

• Have excellent communication skills with the ability to listen, empathize, and provide clear guidance.
• Be organized and capable of managing multiple patient inquiries simultaneously.
• Possess basic computer skills and familiarity with appointment management software or CRM tools.
• Demonstrate problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
• Have prior experience in patient counseling, healthcare coordination, or customer service (preferred).
• Be committed to patient confidentiality and ethical care.

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, social work, psychology, or a related field preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages.
• Empathy, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills to handle sensitive healthcare situations.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using computers, MS Office, and CRM or healthcare management software.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
