What is Hemophilia ?
Hemophilia is a lifelong bleeding disorder where the blood doesn’t clot properly due to the absence or low levels of clotting factors. People with hemophilia experience prolonged bleeding after injuries, surgeries, or even spontaneously, especially into joints and muscles. The two main types are Hemophilia A (factor VIII deficiency) and Hemophilia B (factor IX deficiency). Though there is no permanent cure, modern treatments and proper care allow people to manage hemophilia effectively and live active, fulfilling lives with minimal complications.
