What is Lymphoma?
Lymphoma is a cancer of the lymphatic system where abnormal lymphocytes grow uncontrollably. This disrupts the body’s immune system. It can begin in lymph nodes, spleen, or bone marrow. Lymphoma is categorized mainly into two types Hodgkin and Non-Hodgkin. Early detection significantly improves recovery chances. This condition may spread quickly, but with timely intervention, treatment outcomes are favorable. Lymphoma can occur at any age, but is most commonly seen in older adults or immunocompromised individuals.
